I love this self tanner. I've read both good and bad reviews on it, but for me it worked. Before you use: exfoliate, shave(legs-it helps get rid of the top layer of dry skin) and add a little lotion to dry areas. Then apply the towel. Go over the same areas more than once to avoid missed spots. I apply to my knee, ankles, toes and elbows last to get a lighter tan. IF you do streak or get dark in the joints a simple fix...LEMON juice! Fresh lemon juice will lighten/remove the tanner.
